i was there that northcliffe day rite nxt to invertD..was really small but surpisingly crowded as and super clean, fun day none the less...and PS. straddiecam those yamba pix are farken off tapp, looks huge

These pics are from a surf trip down to ulladulla last week. first pic is called arseholes, heavy keg with a big rock on the end section.

These pics are from a spot called taboo - scored it last fri at 4-6ft with 2 guys out for 4 hours.

Holy shit that first pic is heavy! Where abouts are these breaks? - not the location just the area

1st pic is near ulladulla. the other pics are about an hour north of ulladulla. We also scored Aussie Pipe but there were about 50 locals out and the takeoff area is about the same as the main peak at Dicky Reef so it was hard to snavel the sets.

arseholes is only about a 15 metre ride before it slams on rocks so it's pretty heavy. It's fricken incridible down there though, there's about 20 reefs better than the one's up the coast in 20k's of coastline and there's no crowd. They're super heavy though i saw a guy land on dry rocks and split his head open at a place called the alley, it breaks like the first pic except right and heavier.

we had a northely 1 week ago on saterday i surfed the spit. Um yer dunno ill try get some footage but i wanna try get my surfng a bit better in waves say around 8ft n get some heavy barrels coming together! n experinces wif some solid reefs n rock ledges.

yea im at a stage where i'm practicing taking off on quick waves (low tide beachies), late take offs and getting on wedgies. and im practicing gettin most speed i can from the drop off to make those wide close-out sections at burleigh.

xfactor! u need to practise dropping in on steep waves as high as possbile not tryign 2 make it to the bottom. That depends on how big it is n wat baord u got. But yer xfactor try only drop halfway down the face do a pump then drift out to the bottom learn over you board bottom turn hit the lip vertical then come back down! so u can pump easy n learn how 2 get pumping as quick as possible!

try surf needles on low tide xfactor then u will get good practise on sucky waves and it will be a good laugh for everyone out there too.

there is this sick reef down iluka way for helping u practise ya drops on sucky waves. it comes in looking like its going to break on your head then at the last moment it hits this reef and double sucks like crazy so ya hafta take off under the lip pretty much, then it barrels off its nut for one second then claps out and goes into deep water so you end up having a really low chance of hitting the reef. it would be mad to practise ya drops cause there is only a small takeoff zone.

here's a few more. if you go down make sure you have an old car or 4wd that you don't mind trashing a lot of the sick breaks are off the beaten track in national parks and there's a big problem with thiefs down there to so don't leave anything in your car.

got about 2 1/2 hrs of footage too. I'm going to try to make a dvd of it but haven't done one before. I'll post up a link of some clips when I've got around to sifting through all the footage and encoding them.

last pic is potholes. no pics of anyone in it but i'll post a link tomorrow of a few clips of my mate getting barreled out there. We didn't even get it as good as it gets.

The reefs down there are covered in cunji as well so when you hit the bottom (which is pretty frequent, not very deep) it's like bouncing off a rubber bottom, just have to watch out for the sea urchins.

I'm so amped to get back down there, there's no waves up here that really compare to what they get down there. way better than needles and the reef.
