i thought i would like to kick the official sick pics off because the other one only said jan 05 pic hahahahaha so yeah. I got a couple of pics from a sunshine coast trip from earlier in the year and 1 from terrigal beach. the cool thing is they are both taken from the balconies of were i stayed.

it was big this day the sets were pushing 5ft+ from behind so its like 8ft faces. but there were (little) 6ft insiders coming through hahaha.
you would catch them from right out all the way in to the inside bowl. Its in the middle of the sunshine coast which suprised me because there werent many ppl out. It reminded me of kirra when it used to be good but less crowded :lol:
ill post a pic that makes it look like greenmount... notice how many ppl r out.

yeh ron was there 24thjuly-14th august as i finished a degree in june. surfed ulus, padang, impossibles, bingin, middles, all on the boog. got a stick 2 months ago and am loving it cant wait to hit indo standing up. but also on the boog for padang etc. love em both. (ps this is not an invite to start a stand up vs booger argument)... what is nusa lembongan like i think we will head there this time for a bit??? and yeh most were taken from above the breaks on the cliffs

i just wanna know from someone who has been on both - which is easier to paddle out? boog or surfboard? or are they roughly bout the same? im riding a 5'11" at the moment and its a bitch of a paddle out and rides like a skateboard down big bumpy faces..

with lids you can use arms aswell as legs to get you out. This is good cos when its big and a mish to get out I like to use my arms till there rooted then swap to legs and so forth so im always moving.

yeh its a tough call....i would have to say booger is easier cos u can use both....but if u have a good duck dive technique u can use the greater amount of foam in a surfy to pull urself up and have momentum when u resurface...but a booger is generally easier but not by a great deal. but god there has been some times when i wish i could kick myself out of trouble on a stick.

yeah i was there at the same time, i think from the 15th to the 23rd or something. the surf was good but not great, the only really good stuff we got was at bingin but that was hell crowded. keen to get back there, though

snapper and I have a love hate relationship. but with all the surf forecasts saying snapper is the ONLY place to be on the gold coast (wed/thurs), people took that literally and didnt even bother checkin anywhere else.

because i was working today i couldnt surf but burleigh was cranking apparently - check out some pics at swellnet.. 6 people in the line up at 4:30!!! and burlz is suppose to be one of the most crowded place after snapper/dbah/strad. my mates and i have surfed empty burleigh in the past and it feels great! but can't help think that there must be something wrong with the place if its empty and its usually packed - eg. sharks, bluebottle or somethin..

but ignorance is bliss at snapper. just dont look left and see how far u get lol.. i saw this skinny booger getting run over by a big fat mal one day.. poor guy, i think he got hospitalised.
