What's the go?

We want to see the talent out there and so do the BurleighCam visitors and members. If we think it's the best uploaded pic we will send you a Big Deal T-Shirt in the size of your choice...

The round kicks off at number 30, that's where we got up to last time the comp was running.

Allowed Image File Types and their Sizes
File Types: .gif .jpeg .jpg .png .tga .tif
Maximum File Upload Size: 500 KB

Optimal image dimensions for the average forum viewer are around 700-800 pixels wide with the height varying for the photos individual perspective. Optimal image file size for forum loading is around 100kb or less. The quality of image dimensions and file size will be taken into account when judging.

All pics and stories uploaded are automatically displayed on Keg Talk.

For Round 30, one photographer will win a Big Deal T-shirt for their best surf pic, which will be delivered to them by post.

Maximum of 3 entries per person per round. You can add 1-3 photos to the one post or separate posts.

The winner will be notified by e-mail, in this post and on the BCam home page on the week after the end of March 2004.

Well, seeing as no-one else has entered, I thought I'd throw one into the heap :)

This is Andy Irons at Rainbow Bay, March 12th 2004, in his 4th round heat against CJ Hobgood in the Quiksilver Pro. CJ ripped as well, but Andy was pretty much flawless in this heat. There only ended up being 0.55 of a point between the two of them.

I like how nice and smooth the wave runs down the line, and the enormous rooster tail that he's blasted off the top. Also, the crowd is mellow and sparse along the shoreline (compared to when the finals were run). Kinda sums up the day for me - filthy surf, with a great vibe on the beach.
