First Timer - Need Help

G'Day All,

I recently decided that I would like to become a surfer. All my mates seem to think its pretty cool so it would only make sense that I start surfing as well. So after some research and a little help from my mate, I came up with a list of potentials:

Mal (ibu) - Also known as a longboard. Soulful or the tool off the weekend warrior?

Funboard - Also known as the mini-Mal (ibu). According to the name, this one is fun.

Gun - I'm not really sure about this one, but I think its big. And something about rhinos?

Bonzer - My mate says these are fun. Plus it is clearly an Australian invention.
