and judging by the charts teh surf will be almost non existent :(
I think we may end up heading further south into Vic.
What a time for there to be absolutely no fargin swell!!!
Who'da thunk the southcoast could be flat?
Anyway's will report on teh adventures when I get back.

No pics though, thar be more hick locals than ya fav north coast breakwall.

Yeah sorry Gaz, it look like one of the flatest spells across the entire east coast for some time this winter. There should be some smallish S swell running up the coast over the weekend and into early Monday, but winds also will be from the S quadrant so that wont help the South facing beaches much.

You're only hope is that the models are indicating a small low to develop of the south east coast around this time next week, but it doesn't look to deepen much and with a lack of pressure gradients on it's SW/W flank, don't expect much more than a couple of feet of SE windswell around the middle to late of next week.

Vicco is looking ALOT more promising that's for sure with some very nice groundswells lighting up the Sth coastline for most of next week and lightish winds for at least the first half of the week (before they should swing moer from the Nth and strengthen towards the end of next week due to an approaching cold front). Hope ya find some nice waves mate.

Might be heading down to Eden or further down towards mallacouta way.
We will just play it by ear..
Will have two ski's with us so maybe we'll just do some wake boarding in Pacific Lake..

Damn.....just jealous. Everyone is heading off for an adventure. Well, my getaway ( while not as adventurous as the more recent posts ) involves a few weeks in Thailand. Nothing planned too much......just play it by ear.

Av a good one Stradman. I would love to do another ski trip. Maybe next year, over somewhere like Chile?

hope you have a good trip and get at least enough swell for some tow-ats...

sounds like the snow is the go for the next few weeks if you're on the east coast... maybe you should just take a detour via the snowy mountains and see if you can swap the skis for a couple of snowmobiles? Or head south... a mate just called from west coast SA to ask me what the fk im doing in qld

Gaz, if you're still out there mate, I don't know who you prayed to last night, but it worked. Looks like that low I mentioned above looks set to deepen a little more than first thought and also earlier than first thought (see below). The low fades away quickly, losing pressure tightenings on it's SW flank quickly so it's nothing like an ECL but you should expect a rapid rise in SSE/SE windswell down Ullu way around next Tuesday (more so in the arvo) and into Wed morning before fading away. Nothing massive, but you should have something around the 3-4ft+ mark (with obviously the larger size being at the SBs).

Do you have direct dial to Huey?
