My day at the beach

Well I packed up the car and head off from the big smoke to the beach for a day on the beach only to find a comp in progress which was far more appealing than the interveiws for the surfside bus company that where being conducted out the front of lovers at Dbah. Never have I seen so many wannabe bus drivers in one spot Gearges pics will show you many of the applicants and there were hundreds to choose from.

So I decided to shoot the comp, well I got there just as the final hit the water.

nice shots daz! surf looks better than what it was in those pics though, and yes lovers was a joke, absolute brothel i tell you...got the middle peak every now and then with hardly anyone on it though

at least those 'bus drivers' don't have to drive a bus from brisbane to get to the beach, experience matterrs when driving long distances to get to the surf.

Not sure if JJ got a job with them or not as he didn't demonstrate enough bus driving skills, Couldn't reverse or turn only drive in a straight line couldn't avoid obstacles and couldn't avoid crashing the bus into other buses.

darryn patch, the local camera kook who goes to the beach once a year to shoot with his 50k worth of camera gear. Right hand on the trigger, left hand going at it backhand and rubbing his knob dreaming that he could paddle out into the slop. 600mm is about as close as what you will get to catching a wave.

I doubt that you could surf/boog or even breath undewrwater, but you still think you are the man because of your setup

no offence mate but you shouldnt say that....ive seen patchy out in the surf many times...hes not too bad at shooting water either so before you go write someone off liek that you should know your facts...trust me i get written off all the time haha
