needles was pretty damn good today, best i've seen it in a long time. a bit slow on the sets, but by half-tide there were fat 5ft kegs barreling right through from the surge rock. stoked

Yeah my mate reckons Fingal was 3-4ft. Size surprised me, given that the SSE groundswell isn't overly great. I'm assuming the main set swells at Needles were of a SSE direction?

Much of a crowd Ronny? And was it proper needles or the one in close?

Gee seems like everyone was there yesterday. The rest of the Tweed must have been desserted?

Know what you mean. Mates at Mudjimba have taken up fishing lately. Only a few little sesh's here and there at the island and beachies.

fuck me its pretty much flat up here!!!!! The sunny coast is already testing my patience!I would have thought Sunshine or A-Bay or DI would have had something in these S groundswells, NATG?

Let's hope that low happens out in the Northern Tasman early-mid next week then!!!

yeah theres been a few waves around, had some fun sessions at Wurtulla and Curras last week, but since the end of last week its been pretty much flat eh.....might hit up ABay this weekend, went a few weekends ago with the south groundswell and it was way too straight, few fun lefts in the northern corner though.......so we're in for some swell next week eh?

Still a little far away to have a high degree of confidence and the two main models are still way off in terms of convergence on this scenario, so we'll keep ya posted NATG.

thats it, all this southerly swell, i need to start headin back down over the boarder on the weekends again, just a bit further from here than the vegas now.......some mates reckon straddie has been smokin' lately, and by the looks of some of the pics around the place so has everywhere else south of the border

well that's where i've been heading over the last month and have been scoring it every time. any south swell + westerlies combo you should be at least south of byron... goldy 1ft, south of byron 4-6ft
