Hey SK, just curious....what lens do you shoot with on the end of the 350D? I've got the 400D, so was interested in what lens I'd need to capture similar looking shots.

not sure when I will be shooting surf again.. I got the superbikes over 3 days and a whole lot of Gridiron on different days for the next couple of weeks... :(

Fully, what's going on there? I've seen a bloke out at palmy with a prosthetic (sp?) leg tearing it up on a mini-mal, pretty cool.

yeah dbah was sick as fuk today,, and yesterday was pretty fun too. fuk got some sick ones today! got a bit punished too: coped a lip to the head followed by a back slam into the sand and board (good thing i boog) hit my head all on one attempt to get under a 3-4ft shorey

fuk and yesterday i snapped my bz hubb - more like a split going diagonal across the entire baord.

such a good weekend for surf for me!

nah im either gonna hit up strads (even more kooks) or sunny coast for a bit. i was keen to head down byron way and party at cheeky monkeys nightly, and surf daily, but i mean, lack of cash, almost dead car and work are heavy factors in causing me not to go.

na, me or ben didnt have the IS, we had the cheapies at the start, the 70-300 IS can still take sharp shots, my mates got one and alot of his shots are crisp, I like the 170-500 cause of th reach, but the focusing isnt too great at the full 500mm, anything below is good.
