Reigning and eight-time Foster's ASP World Champ Kelly Slater showed the world today just why he is the greatest competitor of all time, racking in an impressive 19.83 out of a possible 20 to defeat wildcard Julian Wilson.

Slater racked up the first perfect 10 of the year for some of the biggest lip bashes of the event and then backed it up with a 9.83. The man has set the precedent, Foster's ASP World Title No. 9? We'll have to wait and see.

George, awesome awesome first pic mate. How do you seem to capture the perfect moment in time. Don't right off Parko just yet. He scored a pretty good heat score against Irons in Rd 4. No perfect 10, but still two great rides.

Hey Don.. I find it soo easy to shoot the pros.. They always seem to do a tail slide at some stage or a big cutty and "face" the cameras...

Tho I am still waiting for one of em to do a kooky spin......

Yeah i actually went to the pro today because my uni class got canceled. Got there around 5 mins before Slaters heat started. He dominated aye it was good to watch. Don't usually like watching the pro at snapper i find it boring but that heat was really good. Looked for you Georgey but couldn't see you. Where were you shooting from?
