Shark Gordon and Roboshark

Anyone into Shark Gordon on Sunday mornings. Its the best shark show around. Yesterday he was feeding bronze whalers by hand in the shallows while they were knocking him off his feet.

Another good shark show yesterday, on SBS, was Roboshark. A remote control shark that hangs out with other sharks. The white pointers didnt like him and bit him in half. Some good footage of them feeding (the real sharks that is).

Saw both of those....awesome shows and that Roboshark is very cool.

Highlight for me (apart from seeing those nutters hand feeding Bronze's and BUll Sharks while standing in the shallows) was the footage they showed of a Shark's learning...it was trying to grab waterbirds from the surface but couldn't get them as it's bow-wave kept moving them out of reach. It learned over the next few days that to be sucessful it needed to adjust it's attack and come up vertical......needless to say the shark got a feed in the end! :) Amazing animals even if they are bastard sharks! ;)

How about that poor bastard over in WA on the weekend. Cray fishing and then KABOOM!!! They still don't know what sort of shark it was. Luck bloke to still be here.
