the organisers need to show some originality. already seen mars volta, white stripes, gerling etc at bdo. seen afi, seen cut copy, faker, wolf & cub etc on recent tours. you may as well just listen to jjj. livid was a hell better festival with more experimental/less commercial bands (eg mogwai, tortoise, liars, morrisey, dirty three, yeah yeah yeah's) i'll be overseas anyway so hope round 2 is just as ordinary

Rise Against arent EMO. They sold out a bit with their new album by only releasing the acoustic song and playing taste of chaos and thats what got emo fags into them. Listen to revs. per minute or the unravelling and then call them EMO.

The BDO set they played last year was sick...easily the best there that day. Their becoming a bit commercial since they released siren songs. They only woulda played taste chaos to get more people there cause they have only been out here once otherwise and heaps of people in QLD missed them cause they didnt play side shows. Heard nearly everyone missed them the other week anyway cause they played first...haha.

Havent heard much of killswitch. What other bands do they sound like....

Theres only 1 emo song on counter culture but most of the other songs are a heaps softer kinda of punk then the other 2 albums. I agree with Booger they are starting to add more love shit to their music. Tracks 1 and 7 dominate though

Everchanging is a rad song from there.. then in 2003 they released Revolutions Per Minute which is sick too the first 5 or 6 songs get you so amped. Tim is an awesome writer, killer lyrics.. hence..
