Is the superbank dead?

It seems that last 10 months have been REEALL crap! maybe with an exception of a couple of weeks a month ago. We were on flat spell all summer around 1-2ft, then all of a sudden theres this messy cyclonic swell hitting us with 40ft+ swell which isnt even rideable. then there is this awesome week with solid 4-8ft swell for about 2 weeks and now we're back on 1ft ripple riding.

Now, those big waves in march has stuffed up the superbank (kirra looks better now). will it ever get better again? superbank had a real good shape for a while, now the banks there are real crap! and currumbin seems to be overloaded with sand. is it gonna move up north to burleigh?? no rivermouth at currumbin anymore. and the points haven't cranked for ages!!

glad you said that, i thought it was only me that thought that, but wasn't game to admit it incase everyone thought i was a whinging prick. if you read the gold coast surf report in any of the magazines apparently its been pumping everyday with hardly a soul in the surf. who writes that shit anyway - the tourism bureau??? the reality is its been shit for ages and as crowded as it has been shitty!!!
