i used to surf razors all the time. its nasty at the take off my mate lost his life on the rocks i was so upset. anyone remember how the guy in the conoe tried to canoe it and hes got thrown onto teh rocks but his conoe protected him and it was fucked up hard

Couldnt you get any camera and just photochop it. Adjust the color saturation etc.

josh you can't turn shit into clay. If your shots aren't upto scratch there is no point wasting time in making them something there not. A good setup should give you what you want straight from the camera.

ahhh actually darren I took all these pics on my little Canon A85 with housing, luke was just surfing that day, before he bought the set up off you. And no the only editing I did was crop and sharpen.

I have plenty more of Laurie Towner etc from that sunday out there, and I'll tell you what, some of the waves he was coming out of were truely unbelievable. But the boogers charged too, escpeially luke.

Oh and I bought a 20D on friday, and ordering the aquatech housing this week, so there are better pics to come. Some shots of mine also on swellnet today 23.10.05 .....

Hey, great photos. You will love the 20D when you get it in the water. (I'm on the edge of ordering a Delmar for mine, love the D-35 but out of my price range) What lenses / ports are you getting? Did you go for the 10-22 or the fisheye?

I got the 20D and 18-55 deal (as it was $180 more than just the body) with the 10-22 on the list (true fisheyes aren't available I thought?) next after the housing. Will get the dome and flat port with the housing. 4-6 weeks wait though.....

There is no EF-S fisheye but the standard 15mm Fisheye works but because of the 1.6X crop you loose a lot of the fisheye effect on the 20D. The 10-22 is a great lens.

theres a few reefs just around from main beach at yamba, they are everywhere down there - not hard to find. I try and get down there once a month or so, it's fken gold!!

My new 20D is bloody awesome (compared to me A85, but that goes without saying...) and ordered my aqua tech housing on tuesday just gone (new design by the way). Gonna be sweet, 3 weeks off work over xmas at my parents pad in Yamba shooting all day everyday, surf pending. Keen to do some exploring, I know of a couple of secret set ups in the area but have never seen them cranking.

drop me a line if your down there over xmas people, especially the mysterious beck :wink:

yer the one I was with was hawt brunette. The other one was well, not so good. I didnt bang her, just got her number. She wants to come party with us at the PA and places like that.
