surfboard shaping

anyone know anywhere on the goldy or sunny coast where i can do a surfboard shaping apprenticeship or something similar??

You and about a million other guys want to do this. I reckon TAFE should start offering courses. The only way to learn is to get in and give it a go.

Buy this video for starters: "Shaping 101" by John Carper. You can get it from Amazon for about $40.00

However, grab yourself a blank from South Coast foam in Burleigh for around $60 and get cracking. It's hard mate but it's good fun and very satisfying.
