not that it really matters at the moment because of the poo swell conditions of the gold coast at the moment, but im out for quite some time. have to get an operation on my back which will leave me out for a while. 1st part is on thursday, which only minor but will still leave me in over night, then ill be out of the water for about 3 weeks. then the second part will be mid to late november where ill be about for about 6 weeks. then after that i have other treatmements at differant times which will leave me for about another 3 weeks. totoal time out of the water, 12 FARKING WEEKS!. spewing. so get used to me posting, cause there aint much more to do sitting on ya ass at home all day.

but unlike u ronny, i get breaks inbetween my surfing lapses. you had to do the whole thing straight. i have some time off, then get to get back for a little bit, then have some more time off. which i suppose is better. it sitll farking sucks but.

what u do in the mines exo? i was thinking that after i finish school to get some hard cash up for a trip or for uni if i decide to go. how much do u get payed for a doing a job that u need to prior experience from? and is there a limit to like how short u can be out there for? like will they only take u if u are going to be out there for 6 months or a year? or cant u go out for like 3 or 4 months?

It depends on what you want to do there. Being a draftsman id prefer to do that out there since its skilled work, so ill get paid more and wont have to do 12 hour days for 2 weeks straight. Only prob is im doing civil and some structural at the moment and the mines are after mechanical mostly so ill have to learn that. You can go as a labourer, work 12 hours a day but still get heaps of coinage or you could get your truck license and get paid more ($80 a lesson and youll need around 12 lessons though).

If your a labourer you could just go for how ever long and then bail on em but as a drafty id be on a contract for 6 months id say. Something like 2 weeks on 1 week off is the norm I think which is sic as

My super rich mates dad recently bought a mining company, they all make ridiculous money, dumpy drivers they were getting something like 200+ per year for driving back and forth all day. Mechanics and shit make more and there always in demand cause nobody wants to work out there. Pretty good option if you don't mind sacraficing a few years of lifestyle and stay off the piss. Could have some crazy coin saved in no time.

I go out to the merrimac sewerage treatment plant sometimes (20 somethin mill project fixing the thing up) and no one can talk without screaming at each other lol.
