The moon last night.. 19/8

Just wondering if anyone saw it.. or got any pics of it? It was quite a sight.. craziest thing, there was like this killer huge crop circle around it, no idea what caused it

Last night's 'Halo' was caused by the light refracting through a thin layer of cirrus clouds in the upper portions of the atmosphere. I only got a photo of the full moon (just after sunset).. didn't manage to get the halo unfortunately.

I thought it was light refraction. Coolest thing I've seen all year.
